Lucie Jane began her creative journey studying Performance Sportswear Design at Falmouth University in Cornwall, specialising in Womens Activewear and Outdoor. This was followed by her first industry career with Adidas Future Team in Germany, where she worked within Future Womenswear and Innovation. Lucie specialities cover a range of Activewear, from trail running and team sports, to outleisure and skiwear.
Having grown up in the great outdoors of the French Alps, Lucie is an avid sportswoman with first hand experience of what is required from technical sportswear. With her understanding of how to implement her experiences, in depth knowledge of the design process, and an eye for style, Lucie provides a unique service of contemporary garment design and well considered product development.
Lucie’s unquestionable focus is to protect our planet from the over consuming apparel industry, by continually implementing Circular Design Thinking and researching progressive industry practices that are working towards infinite closed loop systems. With all of her clients, she aims to significantly reduce our industries impact through education of brand responsibilities, and awareness and transparency of the supply chain.
Lucie’s Circular Economy career has been accelerated by her participation in the Ellen MacArthur Circular Economy Pioneer Programme 2020 that is aimed at rapidly increasing the transition to a Circular Economy.
Lucie works and travels globally, though currently resides in Chamonix, France, where she runs her design studio.
